I spent the weekend framing a shed with my brothers. As an Architect, I think it is so important to get out of the office, swing a hammer and build things. There are so many lessons to be learned that only improve my design work. It also gives me a great reminder and appreciation of what contractors do day in and day out. From pouring concrete to framing and sheathing walls it has been a great experience.
